Deborah is the founder of award-winning, cruelty-free & wellness design consulting firm DiMare Design. She focuses on humane interiors. Passionate about animal rights, Deborah enjoys educating her clients about cruelty-free & healthy design. She brings awareness to the necessity of compassionate (vegan), safe, clean design for all ages and populations, from newborns to seniors.
Barry Cik
Founder of Naturepedic Mattresses
Naturepedic was founded by Barry A. Cik, a veteran in the field of environmental engineering with over 30 years of experience chasing chemicals. In anticipation of his first grandchild, Barry went searching for a suitable baby crib mattress. Sadly, he found that all of the crib mattress offerings on the market were completely unacceptable. Together with his two sons, they set out to found Naturepedic, a non-toxic and organic mattress manufacturer dedicated to providing parents with a better alternative.

Lisa is the granddaughter to the founder Dr. Emanuel Bronner of Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps. She also runs a blog called Going Green with a Bronner Mom. Two Sisters Eco Textiles
Over the years, Patty and her sister Leigh Anne have dedicated tons of their time to researching ethical and sustainable production— how it’s done, and what the implications are to us (and to all living things) and to our planet. They even put it in their mission statement, a goal “to change the way textiles are being made” – kind of a reach for such an upstart little company, right? They had been working since the early 2000’s to put what they learned into developing fabrics that are affordable for everyone.

Tomas Gaertner
Certified Building Biologist
Tomas trained and worked as an Architect in Germany prior to moving to the UK in 2007. Since then he has specialized exclusively in integrated, ecological and sustainable design and planning. In 2010 he became one of the first Passivhaus Designers in the UK, in 2014 he set up the first Building Biology Consultancy in the UK to be officially accredited by the Institute for Building Biology and Ecology (IBN) in Germany. Tomas is a Director of SE3Design, Certified Passivhaus Designer CEPH and certified Building Biologist IBN.
